Eilis Quinlan FCCA Dip IoD
Principal, Qualified Accountant & Registered Auditor and Tax Specialist.
Eilis worked in practice until starting her own firm in 1992. She holds a Certificate in Computing from DCU and is a member of MENSA. She also holds an Accredited Commercial Mediator award from the Mediation forum of Ireland. Eilis sits on the National council of ISME where she was appointed Chairman in May 2009. Eilis was also appointed by Minister Michael Martin to the Government’s SME Management Development Council in the Republic of Ireland. She is also a member of the Institute of Directors in Ireland (IoD) and President of the North Kildare Chamber of Commerce and was a Finalist in the Network Ireland Business Woman of the year awards in 2010. In 2011 Eilis was invited to join the ACCA Global Forum for SME’s as ireland’s representative. In 2012 Eilis was appointed as the ACCA representative to the FEE SMP Forum in Brussels. Eilis’ main expertise lies in all areas of tax planning and small and medium enterprise development. Her interests include show jumping, cooking, theatre and classical music.
Office Manager & IT Support
She has worked in practice for over 10 years. Deborah joined the firm in March 2007 having previously worked in Account Management roles within the Finance, Accounting Software and IT Industries.
Deborah enjoys reading, walking, cooking and travel.
Julie Passmore BA(Hons)
Part Qualified Accountant
Julie joined the company in March 2015. She is a part qualified accountant currently studying for her final exams with the ACCA. She has worked in practice for over 10 years and has a wide range of experience in accounts preparation, audit, bookkeeping, VAT, payroll and tax.
Her interests include listening to music, going to the cinema & walking her dogs.
Junior Chapwanya BSc (Hons), ACCA, ACFE
Junior joined the practice in March 2015 from the not for profit sector. During her time with Quinlan & Co, Junior has been involved in tax compliance & advisory across all tax heads, and has also worked on Forensic Audits.
An ACCA qualified accountant, Junior holds a BSc Honours in Mathematics from the Midlands State University; a BSc Honours in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University; is a Microsoft Certified Master in Office 2010; and a Certified Associate in Project Management (Project Management Institute).
Junior is also an Associate Certified Fraud Examiner and is currently studying Part 3 of the Irish Tax Institute’s Chartered Tax Advisor qualification.
Outside of work Junior has an interest in psychology, in which she holds a Diploma in Child Psychology. Hobbies include programming (C++ and python) and chess.
Qualified Accounting Technician
Violeta joined the practice in November 2015. She is ATI qualified and currently studying with the ACCA.
Outside of work Violeta enjoys reading, yoga and travel.
Amanda McGrath ACCA, BA(Hons)
Amanda Joined the firm in January 2016, with over 9 years practice experience. Amanda holds an honours degree in Accounting and Finance, and is a qualified ACCA member.

Jane Small BSc(Hons), MIATI
Part Qualified Accountant
Jane joined the firm following four years with another small practice. She is a part-qualified accountant currently studying for her CPA finals.
Janes holds an honours degree in Applied Biology and is interested in gardening, hill walking, sailing and tennis. She also enjoys classical music.
Sinead Marsh BBm (Hons)
Sinead has a BBm (Hons) in Management from IT Carlow, as well as a Diploma in Accounting & Business. She is part ACCA qualified and currently studying for future exams.
Sinead has 2 years bookkeeping experience in practice. Her interests include reading and cooking.
Patrick Tracey BA(Hons)
Audit Manager / Senior Accountant
Patrick has over nine years accounting experience both in practice and industry. He has achieved a First Class Honours degree in Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Accounting in 2007 and a Distinction in Higher Certificate in Business Studies in 2005. He is currently studying for his final exams with Chartered Accountants Ireland.
Patrick enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf at the weekends with his brother, running, reading and supporting the local GAA community. He was involved in coaching the local GAA underage teams.
